Values and Vision

St Christopher’s lives by the motto “Ad gloriam dei”, meaning “For the greater glory of God”, encouraging students to act out their faith and use Christ as an example. It recognises that each member of the school community is an individual with their own talents, and fosters mutual respect to help provide a caring, supportive and Christian community that prepares pupils for life after school.

“The headteacher, other senior leaders and governors are determined in their ambition to ensure that pupils blossom into thoughtful, caring and responsible citizens. The personal development of pupils at the school is of an extremely high standard. Pupils are happy, polite and very respectful of others. Attendance is much higher than the national average and no group is disadvantaged by poor attendance.”
