The school has a range of facilities to ensure teaching and learning experiences are maximised. The school grounds are adjoining to the Parish Church and the buildings are a combination of historical and modern structures. The school is well resourced, and classrooms are spacious and well equipped. The school has spacious grounds, including a large oval used for a range of sporting and recreational activities.

St Joseph’s Primary School provides a well-rounded curriculum to serve its infants and primary classes, with a strong emphasis on numeracy and literacy. The Key Learning Areas are English, Mathematics, Science, HSIE, PDHPE and Religious Education. Small class sizes enable teachers to dedicate time to familiarising themselves with the individual needs of each student.
