St Margaret Mary’s Secondary School’s vision is to ensure its pupils are healthy, safe and happy, achieving their potential. Its teachers constantly strive to promote high expectations. As a ‘School of Ambition’, it actively aims to combat deprivation, promoting ambition as identified in its motto ‘Only the Best Will Do’.
The mission of St Margaret Mary’s Secondary School is to develop as a community of faith and learning. It offers a strong Catholic ethos through the promotion of Gospel Values, through celebration and worship and through service to the community, where each individual is cared for and valued.
The school also aims to provide the highest quality of educational experience to enable all its young people to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to society. The secondary school has a continuous commitment to improving attainment, achievement and success for all. Learning and Teaching is the central focus of all aspects of school life.
