St Michael’s College is a mixed, non-selective, independent Catholic secondary school with sixth form in Queensland, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school is situated in Merrimac and has approximately 950 pupils on record.
St Michael’s College was founded in 1985. It is administered by Brisbane Catholic Education. The school is committed to providing an outstanding education and each student is supplied with an iPad or MacBook in class to allow for them to enhance their learning and for teachers to have more flexibility with classroom teaching.

The school offers modern learning facilities, including Apple computers, a drama studio, music rooms, science laboratories, a Chapel, a well-stocked library and expansive outside grounds.
St Michael’s College offers a broad and balanced learning curriculum designed to aspire each student to become an independent and responsible learner. The secondary school offers a wide range of academic support to aid those requiring additional assistance, including tutorials and a ‘Learning Enhancement and Activities Program’ – which is designed to help students improve their literacy and numeracy skills. Beyond the classroom, pupils have the opportunity to get involved in extra-curricular activities, which include sports clubs, drama productions and dance class.
