Taylor's International School Kuala Lumpur is part of Taylor’s Education Group, Malaysia’s premier private education group which includes Garden International School, Nexus International School Putrajaya, the Australian International School in Malaysia, Nexus International School Singapore, and our sister school, Taylor's International School in Puchong, as well as institutions of higher education at Taylor’s Colleges and Taylor’s University.
Our purpose statement is to “educate the youth of the world to take their productive place as leaders in the global community”, which encapsulates our holistic approach to education.
Taylor's International School Kuala Lumpur is centrally located just to the East of Kuala Lumpur city centre, five minutes from the famous Petronas Twin Towers, and can easily be found on Google maps.
Our campus is located very close to the CBD, and the main shopping malls of KL city centre. The school has transformed from a Malaysian curriculum school with a rich twenty year history into now its seventh year as an International Curriculum School.
Currently there are 1400 students (from over 36 different nationalities) in the school from early years through to year 11. Approximately 10% of teachers in the school are expatriates; with the remainder of the teachers Malaysian. The school encourages all its teachers to use current ideas in teaching and learning and to support this; all classrooms are equipped with SMART IWB’s and teachers have MacBook’s.
Taylor's International School offers a holistic education from Early Years to IGCSE, and follows the National Curriculum of England at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, adapted for Malaysia. All students study Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. The school follows IGCSE courses from CAIE.
Our curriculum is so much more than just academic lessons and as an International Curriculum School, we also place emphasis on academic excellence, character building and physical health and development.
The school is very active outside of lessons, with many opportunities in sport, debate and public speaking; Model United Nations, Interact and charity work, Music and performance,
