Visions and value
The school strives to provide a safe and caring environment for every student to learn in, and to reach their full potential. They hope to instil the ability, skills and knowledge everyone needs for modern life and to foster a lifelong love of learning. They hope to teach each student to work independently just as well as they work in a team and to teach them the morals, attitudes and beliefs that enable them to become respectful and understanding of everyone they come across.
The curriculum is broad and balanced and emphasises the importance of the core subjects of English, maths, science and P.E. It also offers modern foreign languages, history, geography, art, music, IT, design technology and computer science.
