The Bridge Academy

The Bridge Academy opened in September 2007. We educate 900 students in Years 7-11, and our Sixth Form caters for 250 students in Year 12 – 13. Our specialist subjects, Music and Mathematics, sit alongside a broad and rich curriculum; the school timetable has been designed to ensure that there is room for special projects and enrichment and club activities, working with some of the most prestigious organisations in London. Our sponsors UBS, a leading global financial services firm have led the establishment of our school from the onset and they continue to significantly support us.

We are a school with a simple mission: to ensure that when students leave the Academy every one of them can go on to University or a high quality equivalent, thrive in their chosen field and live a great life. In this way, The Bridge Academy truly is ‘A Bridge to their future’.

We are determined that every child who attends The Bridge Academy has the chance to develop their talents and abilities to the fullest in a culture of respect and exemplary behaviour. We have a first-class team, and learning and teaching is stimulating, exciting and enjoyable.

A lot of time has been invested into working in partnership with local primary schools to create the best possible experience for students moving on to secondary school. It means that our students have had the chance to get to know The Bridge Academy team before they arrive and the team is able to establish links with their parents as part of this. By understanding every child individually, The Bridge Academy ensures that every student receives the highest standard of teaching and support.
