The Rochester Grammar School

The Rochester Grammar School’s mission is encapsulated in three words: “transforming life chances.” We are a proud International Baccalaureate World School, and have been since 2007, with many students choosing our IB Programme, and going on to attend outstanding universities and achieve amazing results in life.

We offer the IB Programme because of everything it stands for, it aims to develop internationally minded people, and it boasts the IB learner profile which describes a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond academic success, they imply a commitment to help all members of the school community learn to respect themselves, others and the world around them. We aim to develop the whole learner through our exciting programme of extra-curricular opportunities as the experiences of our students do not end in the classroom.
