Values and vision
While taking pride in its 900 years of educating local children, Thetford Grammar School dedicates itself to preparing pupils for the fast moving, ever changing world they will enter on leaving. Its chief aim is to develop the whole child within an inclusive school community. The core value is to ensure the creative growth of every individual in all areas: academic, physical, emotional, cultural and social.
There are over 20 AS- and A-level subjects on offer in the schools sixth form.
"The school fulfils its aims; it is an inclusive family community which develops the whole pupil and ensures that all are known as individuals. Pupils are very aware of the needs of those who are less fortunate and engage in many charitable fund-raising activities...They have a very positive attitude to learning and work well individually and with one another. They develop into caring and responsible young people.”
