About UTC Leeds

UTC Leeds is the first university technical college in the Leeds area. University technical colleges are state-funded technical schools that give students aged 14-19  the skills they need to innovate and invent.

UTC Leeds is based in the growing educational hub at Leeds South Bank, and is a new, exciting type of school created to teach students a range of scientific and technical skills to prepare them for a challenging and stimulating career in engineering, advanced manufacturing or STEM.

In our March 2023 Ofsted inspection we were rated as 'Good', with our Sixth-Form provision and behaviour and attitudes of students being rated as 'Outstanding'.
