Hours: 15-20 hours per week (in the first instance, with the expectation that the role will grow over time)

Weeks: 52 weeks per year (with 24 days annual leave), however there is flexibility for the right candidate to consider a term time only role.

We are looking for a Kind, Curious and Hardworking person to join us at Northstowe Secondary College, as Events and Lettings Co-ordinator.

Managing and coordinating all lettings and events on the site, the postholder will take responsibility for hiring our sports facilities, and during school holidays and at weekends, the lettings of school and sports facilities to external groups. The role is year-round and will involve weekend and out of hours commitments as required. The ideal working pattern would be weekends and evenings, with little weekday on site work. However, individual preferences can be discussed further at interview.

  • Have events management experience.
  • Be highly organised, dependable and with good personal integrity.
  • Have strong IT skills and possess an independent approach to the job.
  • Have outstanding communication and time management skills.
  • Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude and great interpersonal skills.
  • Be flexible to the needs of the role and with changes that occur as the school expands its facilities.


Northstowe Secondary College is a brand-new secondary school at the heart of the Northstowe Education Campus, that opened in 2019. Now with over 400 students in Years 7-10 and around 60 staff, in a modern, building with state-of-the-art facilities including science, catering and hospitality, the arts, sports and leisure, it is building a fantastic reputation in the local community. The Northstowe Learning Community currently includes a special educational needs school and will in time include a primary school and a sixth-form college.

Our School

Northstowe Secondary College is a brand-new 11-19 secondary school at the heart of the Northstowe Education Campus, that opened to Year 7s in September 2019. It is an exciting time to join our team as we embark on the journey to provide world class education to the developing community.
