Post: Exams, Data and Attendance Officer

Location: Parkfield School, Hurn, Christchurch, BH23 6DF.                  

FTE Salary Range: Grade 6, Point 16 – 22, £24,432 - £27,514, per annum, full time equivalent, subject to performance

Actual Salary: £20,478.41 - £23,061.68 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent contract, part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract Hours: 35 hours per week; Monday to Friday


About the role

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Exams, Data and Attendance Officer who will be responsible for the Data, Attendance & Examinations within the school. This will involve the collection and collation of student progress data, the production of reports regarding data, the management of the school attendance process and the administration of the public exam system at the school.


 About the successful candidate:

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, self-sufficient, dynamic and very well organised individual with a can-do attitude to be part of a fast-growing team. We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent qualification or experience
  • An excellent working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • GCSE Mathematics and English – Grade C and above or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a school environment
  • Using judgement when interpreting and resolving problems.
  • Good office administration skills in order to be efficient and effective
  • The ability to produce reports in a variety of formats to satisfy a range of audiences
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills to exchange information with a range of audiences (e.g. staff, pupils, parents and others)
