Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced IT Services Coordinator to join the Trust as soon as possible.

Post: IT Services Coordinator

Location: Plymouth Based (hybrid delivery model of home and site based according to business requirements)

FTE Salary Range: Grade H, £36,298 rising to a maximum of £40,481 per annum, subject to performance.

Contract Type: Permanent, full time

Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. About the role

An exciting opportunity for a talented IT Services Co-ordinator to join our team.

Under the strategic direction of the Head of IT & Infrastructure,  the IT Services co-ordinator will work to maintain an outstanding ICT provision across the Trust, to deliver service excellence that supports all IT users to achieve outstanding learning and progress

Key responsibilities

  • Provide operational management of the Trust’s ICT systems to deliver an efficient and effective service to pupils, staff and parents
  • Implement an effective IT governance framework
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external support resources to deliver an efficient and resilient support service to users
  • Coordinate the procurement and installation of IT equipment and software
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security regulations
  • Support the Strategic IT transformation across the trust

About the successful candidate

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a busy team within an organisation of more than 900 employees and will have the ability to build effective working relationships and a willingness to collaborate.

You will be someone who feels an affinity with our values and our vision seeking a core purpose of delivering for our students and communities. Other skills, knowledge and experience we look for include:

  • 3 years experience in IT support or similar, in education or enterprise settings
  • Proven experience with project and vendor management
  • Understanding of data protection and security regulations and best practices
  • Positive, solution focused attitude to both challenges and change
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with and build effective relationships using both written and verbal communication you will be able to support a range of queries from staff.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
