Reach South Academy Trust is seeking an Exceptional Executive Business Manager (EBM) to join their team as soon as possible.

Post: Executive Business Manager (EBM)

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Salary Range: Grade I, Point 35 – 40, £41,550 rising to £46,855 per annum, subject to review of performance

Contract Type: Permanent, full time

Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 52.14 weeks per year.

About the role

The post will support the strategic development of a cluster of academies by working closely with the local Senior Leadership Teams and the central Executive Team, to enable effective decision making and achievement of academy aims.

The post will act as the principal financial officer for a portfolio of academies and provide high quality financial support and advice to ensure that the academies make the best possible use of resources and are able to provide the best outcomes for pupils.

The post will be responsible for managing the academies’ budgets, along with maximising income generation and implementing cost saving initiatives.

In addition, the post will assist academies to address all other school business management matters such as People, Estates, procurement, ICT and health and safety.  

The post will require working across more than one location.
