About the Role
We are currently seeking a Sports Coordinator to join our College community. The Sports Coordinator is responsible for the organisation and facilitation of co-curricular sports, representative sports and extra-curricular sports (weekend soccer, netball, touch football and cricket) at the College. The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with the Rugby Coordinator, members of, PDHPE department and other staff at the College to ensure as wide a variety of sports as possible are offered to students. In addition, the successful person will have the ability to liaise effectively with the College Senior Leadership Team with regard to calendar, legislative requirements and risk management to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of the sports programme.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrating a willingness to support and promote the mission of the Church in Catholic Education and Trinity Catholic College values.
- Modeling excellence and innovation in teaching and learning demonstrating effective pedagogical practices which meet the needs of all students.
- A strong knowledge and understanding of leadership in School Sport to ensure its effective implementation.
- High level of organisational and management capability, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience and an ability to maintain respectful and productive relationships with all stakeholders both within and beyond the College community.
- Appropriate qualifications and a commitment to engage in relevant ongoing Professional Learning.

This position is temporary in nature because the substantive occupant (the incumbent) is taking parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
