ABC Teachers part of Tes are working on behalf of a vastly improving primary academy located in Dudley who is seeking to recruit a part-time SENCO from September 2018. This position is for 2 days a week to help cover a maternity leave until the end of the academic year. You will be working with the Deputy Head on a job share basis. The 2 days that you are there will be mainly looking after the paperwork side and attending all meetings. The 2 days have no yet been decided so the school is happy to negotiate with the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will-

· Have at least 2 years’ experience working as a SENCO/ Inclusion Manager

· Knowledge on meetings and relevant paper work 

· Team player

· Commit to the entirety of the role

· Assist the Deputy in ensuring effective communication and liaison within the school.

· Working knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice.

This school is a 3 form entry primary school that provides a framework to help children make choices which help them to value themselves, show respect to others and be successful.

Located in Central Dudley, this makes it easily accessible for those in Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton. There are great public transport routes from the surrounding areas for those that do not drive. This school has an extensive playground in the center of the school which is enjoyed by all!
