Job overview

The School of Creative Arts are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer to join the Music team across Blossomfield and Stratford Campus. You will be able to pass your knowledge onto learners by breaking down theory into practice and give well developed practical sessions on Logic. You will be inspiring to students and committed to the success of the learners and the department. You will have in-depth knowledge of the music industry, ideally music performance and production, and working knowledge of sound design and sound recording. You will also have an understanding of Arts Education. 


Candidates should hold or be prepared to work towards a relevant degree. You will have experience of the industry or a proven track record of delivering music education and be passionate to pass your knowledge and experience onto the students you teach. 


Duties will include planning, teaching and assessing. Additionally, you will provide academic and pastoral support to students and respond to challenges in a creative way ensuring that students are encouraged and developed to reach their full potential. 


Candidates should be dedicated to delivering the highest standards of teaching and learning and the advancement of student attainment. You will be self-motivated and proactive in developing and maintaining quality standards on programmes and demonstrate a commitment to the School and College's improvement plans.
