Job overview

We are looking to appoint a friendly, hardworking learning support assistant to start in November 2019, working 32.5 hours per week from 08:30-15:45, taking a 45-minute break.  Initially this is a fixed term contract ending in July 2020 with the scope to extend.     This learning support assistant will begin supporting a child with special educational needs in the classroom, on the playground, and leading on intervention work outside the classroom for which training will be provided.  

We are looking for someone who:-

  • approaches all work with high expectations and a can-do attitude;
  • maintains a consistent, caring approach to working with children;
  • works well alone and as part of a team;
  • dedicates themselves to continuing professional development; and,
  • preferably speaks two or more languages, including English.
