Job overview

Warren Mead Infant School is looking to appoint an SEN Learning Assistant, ideally with experience, who will play a key role in individual and small group support for identified children with special educational needs, and specifically a child with additional learning needs. 

The successful individual will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of the assigned individual, ensuring they attain the targets set. 

You will also support the school improvement plan led by the Headteacher, whilst promoting the well-being of staff and children in the school. 

We believe in lifelong learning and would be interested to hear from candidates who are considering becoming an advanced teaching assistant or trainee teacher in the future.

Warren Mead Infant School is a community co-educational day school for children aged four to seven years.

The classes have a maximum of thirty pupils and are organised according to age with the children spending a year in one class before moving on through the school.
