1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Moordown St John's CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant(s), initially on a fixed term basis of 17.5 hours per week (mornings) and/or 2.5 hours per week (lunchtimes), to provide teaching and learning support for a pupil with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs.    

We are looking for a self-motivated, caring and committed person to work alongside talented staff and contribute to the ethos of this friendly and popular school.    

The successful applicant(s) will have a proven track record of working with children and: 

• be able to support and promote an excellent desire for learning, adapting to individual needs and following behaviour plans 

• be able to support and promote an excellent spiritual and reflective learning ethos

• be creative and flexible in the way he/she works

• have a sense of humour 

• be committed to his/her own professional development and participate fully in the life   of the school and community         

**  Post 1a and/or Post 1b may be combined with Post 2 for the right applicant. **
