Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a two-form entry school in the London Borough of Camden. This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ features. The ideal 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will be able to start ASAP and can commit until at least the May 2019 half term. The child that the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with has hearing disabilities. The Year 3 child is working at the same level as their classmates, they just require some extra support throughout the day. There is an opportunity for the right candidate for this to become a permanent contract.

In order to be considered for this role, the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience teaching assistant experience in the UK 
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
