ABC has been tasked by a school to find a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant in the North Derby area. The school have informed us that the appropriate teaching assistant will have referenceable experience with dealing with children on a 1:1 basis and has a track record of strong academic care.
The school is located in the Alfreton area of Derbyshire and has recently taken on new staff across the school, including in its senior leadership team. The school should be very accessible for anyone in the Alfreton, Ripley, Belper or even Derby areas. The new changes are proving successful and the school is on the rise in its local community and in terms of Ofsted reports.
The position is currently being offered on a part time basis with two of the days per week being just mornings; however the school would be willing to offer a full working week to an achieving candidate.

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
