We are seeking to appoint a committed individual to work as part of a dedicated team of staff. We seek someone who can effectively support selected students through individually tailored programmes of One to One tuition in Science.
We welcome applications from people who:
- hold qualified teacher status, or are a qualified HE or FE teacher; or
- are able to demonstrate a track record of effective teaching; or
- are able to demonstrate that you can work with individual pupils to progress their learning in Science
- have subject specific knowledge of Science at key stage 4
Salary: £15 or £25 Per hour depending on experience
Contract: Casual – approximately 10 hours per week

Through our Enrichment Programme, we offer all students a wide array of opportunities to promote and develop additional skills by offering a wide variety of clubs, ranging from: competitive sports clubs to Knitting Nanas, drama to the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Award, cooking to many others. Our Enrichment Programme is further complemented by many trips and visits throughout the year, including a whole year group residential to an outwood bounds centre.
Ultimately, we are incredibly proud of our school and the opportunities we offer all students. We welcome visitors throughout the year and school day to see the academy at its very best.
