South Staffordshire College is looking to employ dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic teachers to join our successful horticulture team.  The successful candidates will prepare and deliver classes and assessment activity to learners across a broad range of full time and part time programmes from Entry Level through to HE. Our current offer includes BTEC and City + Guilds qualifications and RHS evening classes.

Experience within the horticulture industry is essential. Familiarity with requirements of awarding bodies in the education sector would be an advantage. 

The ideal candidates will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for delivering practical and theoretical sessions as well as acting as Course Tutors to providing support, inspiration and guidance to our learners.

Experience in the delivery of machinery themed subjects, land based technology and/or crop production would also be a distinct advantage. Applicants should ideally have a qualification in Horticulture to Level 4 and hold an assessors award (D32/3 or A unit) and a verifier qualification (D34 or V unit) or equivalents.
