Do you want to work in an Outstanding School and Business Studies department?
If so, we are looking to appoint a successful, dynamic and enthusiastic second in department to join our highly successful Business Studies team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your teaching and leadership skills, working within an inspirational team. The department currently teaches GCSE Business Studies and GCSE Economics, as well as A Level Business Studies, A Level Economics and the Level 3 BTEC Diploma. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the BTEC Level 3 Diploma, so some experience of this qualification and a proven record of success is essential. The department is currently preparing to teach the new T Level in Business.

“Teaching in the school is first rate because of the attention to detail teachers pay to planning fascinating lessons. The outstanding teaching encourages pupils to work extremely hard and respond well to all they are asked to do. Standards overall are outstanding. All indicators point to a year-on-year rise in standards. Pupils gain just above average results in English, mathematics and science in the national tests at the end of Year 9, but by the time they reach Y11 their GCSE results are impressive and significantly above average.
