St. Augustine’s C.E. High School is a medium sized mixed comprehensive school situated on the doorstep of central London, in Kilburn. We are seeking to appoint a proficient, innovative and passionate 2ic in English who has the capacity to become an outstanding Middle Leader.
The successful applicant must have a passion for their subject and a commitment to lead on the raising the standards and achievement of all students in English.
Working within a friendly English department with well-established schemes of work and innovative resources, the ideal candidate will already have some experience of responsibility

St. Augustine’s Federated schools consists of primary and secondary voluntary aided Church of England schools, located in a diverse multi ethnic, inner city community situated in Maida Vale / Kilburn close to the heart of London.
Our comprehensive secondary school’s results have improved significantly over the last few years and Key Stage 3 results are now above the national average. The number of students achieving 5+ A*-C has increased significantly and the school achieved record results in 2006 and 2007. Contextual and non-contextual value added have shown year on year improvement for the last 3 years.
