We are seeking to appoint a professional with skills and ambition to support the Head of Business Studies and Economics Department in delivering outstanding outcomes for our students.

We expect the successful candidate to provide our students with first-class subject knowledge of the business world so that they can not only live by the Silicon Roundabout but also be part of its thriving success.

Rated outstanding by Ofsted in February 2015, Central Foundation is one of the top performing schools in the country based on GCSE outcomes. In 2017, 87% of our Year 11 students achieved a good pass (Grade C/4 or above) in both English and Maths while 71% of students achieved a strong pass (Grade 5 or above) in both English and Maths. 34% of Year 11 students achieved A/A* or grade 7, 8 or 9. Our Business Studies and Economics department has consistently delivered outstanding outcomes with 82% of Year 11 students achieving grades A*-C in 2017. The courses offered within the department are very popular at both GCSE and A level.

The behaviour of students is outstanding and the disciplined environment allows the teachers to focus on delivering great academic outcomes.
