Job overview

Cover Supervisors urgently needed to work in various secondary schools across Wolverhampton and Black Country.

What is a cover supervisor?

The role of a cover supervisor is that you will be given a pre set lesson plan each day to deliver to classes of 28-30 students across the key stages. The lessons you cover will change each day you work. You could be covering English in the morning and then PE in the afternoon and then Science all day the following day.

You will not be expected to plan the lessons or mark the work. All lessons plans will all be pre set by the class teacher.

All of our cover supervisors are working everyday that they are free at the moment. The beauty of being a cover supervisor is that you can be as flexible as you want to be. If one week you only want to work two days and the next week you want to work five days we will make sure we get you out working on the days YOU want to work.

What qualifications do I need?

You don’t actually need any qualifications to become a cover supervisor. We ask for you to have 25 days or more experience working with groups of children. This doesn’t necessarily have to of been in a school setting.

This can be:

  •  Camp America
  • Football Coaching
  • Youth work
  • Dance Teacher
  • School placements
  • Voluntary work etc

The start times will be from 8:30am/3:00-3:30pm each day (We can also offer half days). The rate of pay for a cover supervisor is £60 - £70.
