The post of Academic Coach – Cover Supervisor is required within the School of Maths and English to support the administration and delivery of Maths and English to students across the college. To co-ordinate and facilitate Maths or English classes as directed by the Curriculum Manager for Maths or English or by the Head of School and to participate in the effective and consistent use of student monitoring systems (Moodle and eILP).
Attending open events to positively promote the college and its programmes of study and support services to potential students. You will ensure up-to-date the tracking of students undertaking maths and to supervise students using the Maths Lab, supporting the enrolment of all students within the caseload, including late starters, following up on no-shows and assisting the curriculum area with supporting students and monitoring attendance and performance. You will also provide cover for classes when required.

Northampton College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Northamptonshire. It is a 16-plus institution with three campuses: a major building at its main Northampton site, a smaller campus near the town centre and another 20 miles away in Daventry. It provides places for around 9,000 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18.
Northampton College was opened in 1973. It merged with Daventry Tertiary College to expand its Daventry campus in August 2004, and its Booth Lane campus reopened after a large redevelopment in 2012.
