Inaugurated in March 2013 and scenically located in the foothills of the Andes, our new purpose-built campus provides excellent facilities in a stunning natural environment. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Educational leader who will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the ongoing development and continuos improvement of teaching and learning throughout the school.
Reporting directly to the Headmaster, the Academic Director leads a team of three Academic Coordinators, ten Heads of Department, the Evaluation Team and the Inquiry Centres.
The successful candidate is a master teacher with further studies and experience in curriculum design, assessment and the methodological approach of the International Baccalaureate or innovation at school or wider level (state, county, regional). She/he must be a leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, bilingual (English-Spanish) and have an international outlook or personal life experience.
Required for March 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter, the contract is initially for three years and includes an attractive compensation and relocation package at international level.
