Stamford Endowed Schools are offering a fantastic opportunity for Academic Graduates, with fluent French, from any academic discipline to join us for a two year programme at Stamford School or Stamford High School , beginning September 2020.
We would like to hear from Graduates from all disciplines who are passionate, not just about their subject, but who can also offer leadership in some element of the schools extra-curricular programme, and who are interested in gaining experience in teaching. The Graduate Teachers will become members of the academic staff, playing a full role in our busy independent day and boarding schools. If, after the first year, a Graduate wishes to pursue a career in teaching, we will assist and part fund a part-time PGCE course, so that they will leave Stamford with enhanced career prospects and the invaluable experience of teaching and living in a busy independent school.
At the end of the two year post we would normally expect Graduate Teachers to further their careers in other schools. However, should a position arise within the Stamford schools then we would be happy to consider an application.
Further information can be found in the applicant pack below, to apply please visit the School's website at www.stamfordschools.org.uk
For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Suzy MacCarthy via email in the first instance on email@example.com

Interviews will be held week commencing 27 April 2020.
