Salary: Grade 5 - £29,616.58 - £35,995.07 (actual salary - £17,769.95 - £21,597.04) depending on qualifications and experience
Maternity cover commencing April 2021 to August 2021 (with potential to extend depending on student numbers)
The Academic and Learning Support (ALS) team at the Havant Campus is seeking to recruit a qualified lecturer to deliver outstanding learning support assessments and teaching sessions (generally English and/or Maths support) to our wide cohort of supported learners.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supporting learners with a wide variety of SEND, including SpLD, ASC, SEMH, sensory impairments and other learning difficulties. A Level 5 (or above) qualification in SEND or exam access arrangements would be beneficial but is not essential. The role will also involve staff development and curriculum liaison for SEND support. Experience of teaching English and/or Maths would also be beneficial.
Duties will involve teaching in small groups and 1:1 to students with a wide range of learning difficulties on all levels of courses up to and including pre-degree courses.
