About Eden Girls' School, Waltham Forest

Eden Girls’ School, Waltham Forest is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for 11 to 18 year old girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none.  We opened in Walthamstow in 2014 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with a Progress 8 score of +1.19 for our 2019 GCSE results.​​​​​​​ We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in April 2017.

We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils.  You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning.  Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills.  You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

• A degree qualification (2ii or above).
• A strong commitment to inclusion and overcoming barriers to learning and achievement.
• A commitment to the pursuit of continuous professional development by oneself and others.
• The highest levels of professional and personal integrity.​​​​​​​
