As part of the Government-backed National Tutoring Programme, we would like to employ two Academic Mentors. We are looking for passionate, driven and caring people to support those whose education has been most affected by the disruption caused by the pandemic. Academic Mentors will be expected to deliver engaging small group or one-to-one sessions to support gaps in learning. You will benefit from a custom programme of online training and full induction will be given. As an Academic Mentor you will be employed on a fixed-term contract to deliver a tailored programme of support, unique for our school. Your main responsibility in this role will be delivering:
• Small group work
• One-to-one support
• Revision lessons (in groups or one-to-one)
Applicants must have 4 GCSEs (including English and Maths) at Grade 4 or above and/or 3 A levels at grade A*-C or equivalent.

Having recently joined the Redhill Academy Trust, Park Vale Academy, is a newly constructed Academy situated in the Rise Park area of Nottingham. The new school was re-opened on 1st September 2017 to students aged 11 to 16. The school is friendly and forward looking, and determined to accelerate recent improvements in outcomes for all its students.
