We’re looking for an Academic Recovery Coach - Science to join our team until July 2022

As an Academic Recovery Coach you will improve student achievement in science with particular focus on the progress of disadvantaged and SEND students. You will provide individual or small group instruction to students who are below target and monitor, report, and communicate student progress and performance. You will be making a direct impact to a young persons life that will open doors for their future!

This post would suit someone who is degree qualified in their chosen subject or are currently studying a postgraduate qualification in education or are already an experienced teacher or tutor.

This role is 32 hours per week term time only + 5 days. Actual salary TTO 32 hours of £18,764 - £19,913 + AMAZING benefits!

Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is situated in Pudsey and just 15 minutes from both Leeds and Bradford centre with places for 1250 students and 130 staff. Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is a 'Good' school in Leeds (Ofsted, 2024) with Outstanding features. It is an 11-18 Academy with a Sixth Form and an intake of over 1000 students and around 135 staff. Originally a co-operative foundation school and part of the Leeds Co-operative School’s Network, they joined the Co-operative Academies Trust in July 2017.
