Thank you for your interest in the post of Academy Business Manager at Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy.

The post of Academy Business Manager is a vital one for us, bringing together the three areas of human resources, finance and estates.  Lord Lawson is a stand-alone academy, so we have considerable freedom to set and control our own budgets, and to use the funding we receive in the best interests of our students.

As Business Manager, you will join a strong senior team, focused on giving clear direction and continually improving the academy.  You will also benefit from working with a support team made up of individuals who are exceptionally highly motivated, able and hard-working, and who truly work together as one team.

This position provides a career-defining opportunity for the right person. You are likely to be a decisive and committed individual, already successful in managing aspects of staffing and finance.  You may already have business management experience at a smaller school, or you may have worked in similar areas of  responsibility outside the educational sector.
