Do you want to make a difference and influence education in your Community?

The Priory Learning Trust is looking for people from the local area to serve as Academy Councillors, previously known as Governors.

Academy Council’s create an opportunity for local people who are passionate about excellent education, in the context of community transformation, to come together to support their Academy.

The Priory Learning Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust in the North Somerset area of the South West of England.

The Trust currently comprises of four academies; two secondary and two primary;

  • Priory Community School – An Academy 
  • Worle Community School – An Academy
  • Castle Batch Primary School Academy 
  • St Anne's Church Academy (dual site)
  • From 1 October 2018, The King Alfred School

Academy Councillors work with the Academies Leadership Team to provide effective support and challenge, and can be an extremely rewarding experience.
