We are currently looking for an Academy Operations Manager. This exciting role will incorporate the role of PA to the Principal and also manage the delivery of an efficient, professional and effective administration service across the academy and day to day operations. The successful candidate will manage a small team of support staff and will act as liaison for the Northern Schools Trust’s Central team.

Outstanding administration and communication skills are essential, as is experience of working to deadlines and providing administration systems. You must have line management experience, and will direct and co-ordinate the work of others. The ability to work flexibly in a fast paced environment will be required.  

The Academy is part of Northern Schools Trust, along with Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, The Kingsway Academy, Wigan UTC and The Studio. It is situated in state of the art buildings which provide a bright and motivational learning environment – but it is the staff that makes the greatest difference for the students. How are staff supported?

All staff are supported in both their career progression and aspirations, from tailored CPD to coaching and mentoring programmes, and also with their wellbeing.

We have a dedicated wellbeing team and a number of mental health 1st aiders on site who can support and signpost staff to various organisations.

Our enhanced Employee Assistance Programme provides 8 sessions of online or face to face support for counselling and CBT for both you and your family members over 16.
