We are keen to appoint an outstanding leader to this key position within our thriving school. We have a fundamental commitment to inclusive education that meets the needs of all students. Our school community includes resourced provisions for deaf students and students with Autism alongside a busy SEN department. Our exciting and creative approach to learning cultivates growing intellectual curiosity and a sense of enquiry. Students are encouraged to develop as confident and independent learners. 

You will hold the relevant qualifications that enable you to test students, apply for Access Arrangements (AA) and complete all of the necessary paperwork required to meet JCQ requirements for AA. Furthermore, you will have experience of assessing students with suspected SEND needs to determine level of need and appropriate support (School Based Assessments). This post will include the organisation and some teaching of intervention sessions taking into consideration access arrangement responsibilities. There is potential for the successful candidate to hold the post of Co-SENCO (Academic).

You must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
