Job Description

• To compile a wide and varied repertoire suitable for use in dance classes. The purpose being to support, encourage and inspire both teacher and students.

• To accompany dance and musical theatre repertoire as required by teaching staff.

• To be familiar with syllabus music (for example RAD/ISTD).

• To continually update personal repertoire and keep abreast of any changes in syllabi.

• To accompany as necessary with any dance or musical theatre performances, productions, events.

• To accompany Parents’ Evening events and other school events.

• To accompany vocal classes, if required.

• You may be required to undertake other duties as requested.


Whole School

• To support the senior leadership team in implementing the ethos and wider philosophy of the school.

• To ensure health and safety procedures and safeguards are always observed.

• To attend meetings, INSET, Open Days, and other events.

• To promote goodwill and foster good relationships with parents and other members of staff to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities.

• To be punctual, presentable, and positive.


The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position to start soon as possible. The deadline for applications is Friday 3rd March 2023 with a view to interviewing the next week.


The successful candidate will be subject to employment checks, including DBS and reference checks and will be provided with safeguarding training.
