Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's finance team and for the smooth running of the school's day to day financial operations.  Key areas of responsibility include: 

1. Management of Tuition Fees & other receivables

2. Analysis of fee receivable reports on a timely basis

3. Preparation of annual budget

4. Cost management and reporting of deficits and surpluses

5. Maintaining accurate records and reconciliation of all accounts to ensure compliance

6. Review, reconciliation, document preparation, and disbursement of the monthly personnel payroll

7. Management and reporting of payables

8. Treasury management & preparation of bank reconciliation reports

9. Preparation of financials for yearly external audit

10. Preparation of Management Information System

11. Assist in ensuring compliance during internal audit

12. VAT refund preparation & compliance with FTA requirements.

13. Line management of Cashier & Accounts Assistants

PERSON PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance
  • 5 years' experience, preferably in a school setting
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Arabic advantageous  
  • Organised, methodical and able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
