Job overview

Required as soon as possible, an Accounts Assistant & Purchase Ledger responsible for maintaining and reconciling Purchase Ledger and Supplier Accounts, performing monthly bank reconciliations, dealing with cash transactions, reconciling trip accounts, liaising with suppliers and staff members, assisting in the preparation of month end accounts.   

Hours 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch, during term-time and 9am to 4pm during school holidays although flexibility in working arrangements will be considered. Own transport essential. Free lunch and membership of the school’s group personal pension plan.    

Starting salary up to £27,000 subject to skills and experience and will be pro-rated depending on the pre-agreed working hours/days. Minimum qualification:  Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or similar.
