Achievement Leader – Key Stage 4
MPS/UPS + TLR 1b £9,481 pa
We are looking to appoint, as soon as possible, a suitably qualified, experienced and inspiring leader to take on this important academic and pastoral leadership role which will support students to give them confidence and the ambition to succeed. The Achievement Leader will be responsible for the co-ordination and leadership of learning in Key Stage 4 and successful transition in Years 10 and 11 to students’ next stage of learning. They will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to enable students to make outstanding progress. The role is integral in ensuring the academic, personal, social and emotional development of students within the school through the consistent and fair implementation of our values and expectations, and in raising the achievement of all students at Key Stage 4. It requires the enthusiastic, motivational leadership and management of the year team, effective communication with parents and outside agencies.
You would also be required to ensure all new tutors are inducted into the school’s aims, ethos, core values and systems to ensure a consistent approach by all.
This role is open to teaching staff with a proven track record of good to outstanding teaching. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach within their subject area across Key Stages 3 & 4. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with specialisms in Mathematics, English, French or German, although we will consider other subject areas.
