We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our excellent SEN/Inclusion Department in the role of Achievement Mentor.
Ipsley CE RSA Academy takes pride in delivering quality teaching and learning which enables all students to learn. As a team, we are committed to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and disabilities so that they can become happy, prosperous and successful members of our community.
This role would be suited to those seeking a career in education and is a great opportunity to gain experience of working with young people in a school setting.
The role will involve supporting pupils with SEN, particularly pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, in improving their attitudes to learning. The role will involve assessing pupils’ readiness to learn, employing strategies to support these pupils both within and beyond lessons and delivering mentoring interventions to support positive pupil behaviour and social skills.
This post offers a great opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking team at an exciting time within the school’s journey to becoming exceptional. Working within Central RSA Academies Trust offers excellent opportunities for professional development and several colleagues have moved from similar roles into teacher training within our Teaching School Alliance.
