Salary: Band C £16781.00 - £17772.00 FTE Hours: 37 per week, term time only  Start: Required for November 2017, Temporary to December 2017 (in the first instance)  

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our Achievement Support Team.  The successful applicant will provide in-class support for Year 7 to 11 students with learning/behavioural difficulties across the curriculum.  

You may also be required to be a ‘reader’ and/or ‘scribe’, as per exam arrangements, for allocated student(s).   

Brinsworth Academy is the founding member academy of the Learning Engagement and Achievement Partnership MAT, which currently comprises 2 secondary schools and is now seeking to expand.  

Brinsworth Academy’s mission is to help all students to “Achieve Excellence” via quality first teaching, responsive pastoral care and decisive leadership.

Brinsworth Academy is a 2022 Ofsted "Good" 11-18 academy, situated near Rotherham in South Yorkshire. There are 1,435 students on the academy roll, including over 200 students in the sixth form. It gained academy status in October 2010 and is part of the LEAP Multi-Academy Trust. It also has a specialism in science.
