Hours: 43 hours per week - to be worked flexibly under the direction of the Director of Sport, covering the hours of 0700-1900 on Monday to Friday & 0700-1330 on Saturdays during term time only, including INSET days and occasional training days , plus attendance at Open Days, INSET days and occasional training days
The Activity Centre Assistant will be responsible for helping with the effective and efficient day to day operation of the Activity Centre during school hours and will work collaboratively with the Events and Lettings teams to support them in their external lets out of school hours. The Activity Centre Assistant will also provide coaching support to the Sports Department, to help in the delivery of the PE & Games Programme.
Working 43 hours per week in term time only (namely 36 weeks a year,) your hours will be worked flexibly under the direction of the Director of Sport and in conjunction with other Activity Centre staff to cover the core hours of 0700-1900 Monday to Friday & 0700-1330 on Saturdays.
The successful applicant will possess a sport related degree or equivalent, coaching qualification (Level 2 or above) and will have had some experience of coaching junior sport, in a schools or club environment. Highly organised, with fantastic interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships, you will be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
