Working Hours: 29 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 3.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm
Contract Type: Term Time only plus 5 Inset days

To commence 6th Jan 2020 on a fixed term basis up to 31st December 2020 to meet specific funding, though the contract may be extended subject to the future operational needs of the school.

Fairfield School is looking to appoint an Activity Support Assistant to support the learning and welfare of pupils/students with profound and severe needs. 

You will be expected to provide all aspects of personal care to our students, whilst additionally supporting the learning needs with individual pupils and small groups.

Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential, and experience of working with pupils who have profound and multiple learning difficulties would be an advantage.

A particular emphasis would be in supporting, under the direction of specialists, the medical and physical needs of our pupils.
