Already the country’s best performing trust for the new Progress 8 measure at KS4, the City of London Academies Trust is driven by ambition: to deliver world-class results as we combine the heritage and tradition of the City of London with creativity and innovation. We have a proven track record of school improvement, offering students an exciting curriculum and opportunities to perform, showcase their talents and experience the world of work outside of the classroom.

We now seek an Admin Officer to join our administrative team and work pro-actively with the business manager, the senior leadership team, teachers, heads of department and the wider support team across a range of activities including general administration duties, maintaining information management systems and being a front of house representative.

Meticulous attention to detail is paramount and as well as excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet critical deadlines. On top of this, you should be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills and have great time management skills. You will be processing confidential information and must comply with the relevant trust and external policies.

It is expected that you would be available to support certain meetings outside of your normal hours by agreement in advance for which time off in lieu will be accrued.

In this post you will play an instrumental role in school improvement, developing whole-school systems and ensuring that the school is outstanding in every category within two years. You will be working with a team whose mission it is to embed excellence in everything we do.
