New Horizons Federation is a hard federation of two special schools, Oakwood and Westbrooke Schools, for pupils with social emotional and mental health issues and the Bexley Pupil Referral Service at Pathways Short Stay School. The Federation also provides a range of services to school stakeholders and the Local Authority through an Outreach Service and behaviour projects. We are seeking an experienced administrative officer who has ideally worked within a busy school office. The post holder will be expected to work as part of an administrative support team. This includes all administrative tasks related to Oakwood School and its interface with schools, other agencies and parents / carers as well as support for the staff team.
We are looking for someone who is able to work independently as well as part of a team and can be flexible to meet the operational needs of the school. Sound understanding and experience of using SIMS as well as confidence in the use of ICT are essential alongside the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
