Hours: 37 hours per week, term time (39 weeks) - 7.30am-3.30pm Mon-Fri
Varndean School’s vision for World Class education means we have a continuing focus on excellent customer service and the delivery of the very best administration services. Our Administration & Cover Manager will be a pivotal figure in all of this, overseeing a small team of reception and administrative staff and managing our sickness absence cover systems. A skilled administrator, you will be the liaison point for all key administrative processes within the school, and your customer service skills will set the standard for our Varndean community.

Varndean School has a proud history. It has undergone many changes to bring it to where it is now; starting life in the centre of Brighton in 1884 and moving to its current site in 1926. Since then the school has evolved into a vibrant and diverse co-education comprehensive school with a population of over 1400 students and nearly 200 staff which represents the local community it serves.
